What is it that I actually do?

I created this blog in 2014, and have since gone on to work with some of the biggest publications, championships and brands in motorsport. If you would like to talk out about working together, please get in touch via the contact page.

Motorsport Journalist

I have been a copywriter and journalist for the last decade, specialising in motor racing. This has seen me working in paddocks and pit lanes around the world, including in Formula 1 and in Formula E as their official ‘Championship Journalist’.

Covering many subjects from a wide range of motorsport series, I’ve gained a great deal of experience working to tight deadlines and writing to different tones and styles. I have contributed to several well-respected publications, such as Sports Illustrated, Autosport, BBC News and The Independent and for organisations like the Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 Team.

As well as seeing my work in print and online, I also wrote two sell-out annuals that were available to purchase on Amazon, W H Smiths and Waterstones.

Podcaster

In 2023, I relaunched my own podcast; Small Torque. The aim was to be a cosy and welcoming space, for racing fans new and old, to look at the biggest talking points in motorsport in a fun and relaxed way. In just four months, it had surpassed 100k listens and the audience continues to grow.

I was a part of the award-winning WTF1 Podcast, alongside co-hosts Tom Bellingham and Matt Gallagher, as well as the host of the Inside Electric Podcast. I have also appeared as a guest on shows for talkSPORT, Track Limits and was an inaugural guest on Formula E’s The Added Lap podcast.

Presenter and Host

Although I spend most of my time behind my laptop, I also have experience in hosting events and panels for clients like the NEOM McLaren Formula E Team, the FIA Formula E World Championship and DawBell PR.

I have also appeared as a regular contributor on Formula E’s YouTube and social media channels in Season 10, on both their preview and live post-race shows. This opportunity has seen me interviewing drivers on camera, analysing on-track action and predicting what we could see from a race weekend.

Content Creator

With over 85,000 social media followers, I have been able to work with many big brands including LEGO®, Peroni Nastro Azzurro, Quadrant, Pizza Express and Rimmel London on a number of campaigns.

I have also got two years of experience managing WTF1’s social media accounts, creating graphics and producing engaging content for their 3.8 million followers.
