Doesn’t everyone have a podcast these days?

I love a good natter, which is why I quickly fell in love with podcasting and talking about my passion for motorsport.

In 2023, I launched my very own podcast, Small Torque. The aim was to be a cosy and welcoming space where you could join me for an informal look at the biggest talking points from the world of motorsport. Described like getting a voice note from a bestie, the podcast has also become a great outlet to share all the behind the scenes gossip or experiences from my time travelling and visiting various paddocks.

During 2020, whilst the pandemic kept everyone in their homes, I had great fun interviewing drivers and team principals from the Formula E paddock for the Inside Electric Podcast. Long-form conversations with Season 1 Champion Nelson Piquet Jr, Allan McNish, Daniel Abt and Alejandro Agag were some definite highlights. The Inside Electric podcast, part of an independent website that I helped co-create, also covered news, detailed post-race episodes and engaging audio content during the 2019/20 Formula E Season. I also hosted every one of its 50 episodes.

Since becoming a permanent addition to the WTF1 Podcast in October 2020, I helped the team increase their listener numbers, win awards and become an essential part of the podcast. Working alongside Matt Gallagher and Tom Bellingham, we recorded weekly episodes discussing anything and everything from the world of Formula 1. The chemistry between the three of us was a hit, with a 4.8/5 rating over almost 900 reviews on Apple Podcasts alone.

“This is my #1 F1 podcast. I look all the time for new episodes. The dynamics of the hosts make you feel apart of the conversation. It’s like talking F1 with friends listening to this podcast. I love the commentary and analysis on the sport.”
